Here at Halzephron we pride ourselves on producing great tasting, good quality food, using only the finest local ingredients. Our unique range is still made in small handmade batches which ensure that the taste is never compromised.
Whether it be from marmalades to mayonnaises, dressings to deli specials, seeds to chutneys, cold sauces to cooking sauces or jams to curry sauces, we have something for every recipe!
We have even produced a Product Guide which includes recipe ideas and give a detailed description of what each of our products tastes like, which we hope will help you decide what to buy.
The name ‘Halzephron’ is derived from the old Cornish language meaning ‘Cliffs of Hell’.
Our company was founded in the kitchen of the farmhouse set above these cliffs at Gunwalloe, where in the late 15th, early 16th century the area was renowned for wreckers, hence the rather scary name!
We only use the finest ingredients and we are proud of our Cornish heritage.
